Subject: Special Recruitment drive by way of ‘Walk-in-Interviews’ for SC/ST/OBC candidates to the posts of Senior Residents / Senior Demonstrators on adhoc basis (3 yrs) for the tenure period as per Govt. of India’s Residency Scheme for the July Session’2012 at the AIIMS, New Delhi.


The Special Recruitment drive by way of ‘Walk-in-Interviews’ for SC/ST/OBC candidates on adhoc basis (3 yrs) for Indian Citizens, as per Govt. of India’s Residency Scheme, for the 90 posts of Senior Residents/Demonstrators in various departments at AIIMS (including Backlog vacancies), is being held. The prescribed format for applying for the same along with details of seats, the terms & conditions, is available on the internet– www.aiims.ac.in www.aiims.edu and www.aiimsexams.org

The walk-in-interview will be held on August 30, 2012 for Group No.1-10 and August

31, 2012 for Group 11-26 in Academic Section, AIIMS. The candidates are required to be present ‘in person’ along with application form duly filled with supporting documents and original certificates (DOB, MBBS Degree, Registration certificate from MCI/State Medical Council/DMC, PG degree/Pass Certificate, MD/MS/DNB/MHA/Ph.D, SC/ST/OBC Certificate, NOC from the present employer (Applicable for those working in Govt. organization) at 10.00
AM in Lecture Theatre-I on these days as per given schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS:

For Medical Candidates

a) A postgraduate degree viz. MD/MS/MHA/MDS in the respective discipline from a recognized University/Institute.

For the Post of Geriatric Medicine

b) A postgraduate degree viz. MD in Geriatric Medicine or MD in Medicine from a recognized University/Institute.

For the Post of Emergency Medicine

c) A postgraduate degree viz. MD in Medicine from a recognized University/Institute.

For Non-Medical Candidates

d) (i) The candidate shall possess an M.Sc in the subject concerned and
(ii) Ph.D in the subject concerned/allied subject from a recognized University/Institute
Qualifications for the post of Laboratory Medicine
MD in Laboratory Medicine/Pathology/Microbiology/Biochemistry from a recognized University/Institute.
e) Senior Demonstrators in Medical Physics(Radiotherapy) and Senior Demonstrators in Medical Physics (IRCH): (1) M.Sc in Medical Physics with one year experience or its equivalent recognized qualification OR (2) M.Sc in Physics with Diploma in Radiological Physics.
However, at the event of having M.Sc with Ph.D the pay scale will be as in the case of Non-Medical candidates.

g) UPPER AGE LIM IT (AS ON 31.07.2012)
(i) Senior Resident and Senior Demonstrators for SC/ST candidate 38 years, in the case of
OBC candidates 36 years”.
(ii) 40 years for those who are appointed as Senior Residents after completing DM/M.Ch
Courses for SC/ST candidates and 38 years for OBC candidates.
The candidates who have qualified their P.G Degree/Ph.D. exam. before the date of walk in Interview are eligible to apply provided that they have completed their tenure of PG/PhD before the date of walk in interview and provide their passing certificate in original on the day of ‘walk-in-interview’.
The candidates who are in service in any Govt. Hospital/ Institutions are required to provide No Objection Certificate from their present employer. The candidates will not be permitted for Examination/ Interview if they fail to produce this certificate.

PAY SCALES

1. Medical candidates Rs.18,750+6600 (Grade Pay)+NPA plus other usual Allowances
2. Non-Medical candidates MSc with PhD Rs.16,740+5400 (Grade Pay) plus other usual Allowances
3. For Non-Medical Candidates with MSc(Medical Physics, Radiotherapy/IRCH)(in the revised pay scale of Rs.12,090+4200 (GP)+other usual Allowance.
Note: Hostel Accommodation
Hostel accommodation will only be provided if available. However they will be entitled for House
Rent Allowance (HRA) as per Govt. of India rules.
